World Premiere of Toy Masters footage and Q&A during Power Con 2011

The innagural edition of Power-Con will be taking place in Los Angeles September 24-25. As part of the event Urban Archipelago FIlms will premiere 20 minutes of never before seen footage from the upcoming documentary film TOY MASTERS. The film chronicles the meteoric rise and fall of the MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE franchise as well as the years of struggle for credit over its origins.



The preview will be followed by a Q & A session with the filmmakers and various special guests moderated by Robert Meyer Burnett (director of FREE ENTERPRISE and FEMME FATALES).

TOY MASTERS documentary preview premieres at San Diego Comic Con 2011

TOY MASTERS, the new documentary feature film from Urban Archipelago was previewed at San Diego Comic Con on Friday night in front of a roaring crowd of fans in Hall H. The film chronicles the rise and fall of MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE, the billion dollar toy and entertainment franchise. The exclusive 11 minute preview from Comic Con is now available online at the film's official site and also on facebook.

Producer Roger Lay, Jr has just begun work on a new project with creator Gary Goddard based on the cult classic Science Fiction series CAPTAIN POWER AND THE SOLDIERS OF THE FUTURE. The groundbreaking 80s show was the first to feature computer generated visual effects and was designed as the first interactive television program with a series of figures, vehicles, and playsets produced by Mattel Toys.
