Ray Bradbury's Chrysalis is now available for rent and purchase on the Sony Playstation Network. PS3 owners can now watch the film through the popular online gaming and digital media delivery service from Sony Computer Entertainment. The PS3 Network is one of the fastest growing digital media services in the world with over 50 million registered PlayStation Network accounts worldwide. Ray Bradbury's Chrysalis was the recipient of the Best Feature Award at the International Horror and Science Fiction Film Festival and is also available on DVD from E1 Entertainment.

Producer Roger Lay, Jr., composer Brandon Moore, and the cast of Ray Bradbury's Chrysalis join the line up of guests for the 2010 edition of Hollywood Xpo at Universal City on Saturday October 16.

Take an inside look at the making of the latest feature film based on the works of internationally acclaimed author Ray Bradbury. Originally published more than 60 years ago in the pages of the pulp classic magazine, Amazing Stories, and in Bradbury's classic anthology S is for Space -- Chrysalis now makes it to the screen in this feature film adaptation from Urban Archipelago Films.

The panel will be moderated by New York Times Best Selling Author Marc Scott Zicree ( The Twilight Zone Companion, Magic Time). Cast and crew will be on hand to sign DVDs, CD soundtracks, and limited edition posters of the film immediately after the panel.

Urban Archipelago announces release plans for BOGATYRS, the company's debut graphic novel...

Urban Archipelago Films will make its foray into the world of comic book and graphic novel publishing with the mythological fantasy BOGATYRS, scheduled for release Summer 2011.

Set in an ancient and magical world of fantasy the book updates many classic characters and legends from the old bylinas -- traditional Russian epic tales of heroic warriors, strange monsters, and mysterious prophecies. BOGATYRS brings to life some of the most compelling myths ever conceived for a new generation of readers to experience. The Graphic Novel chronicles the adventures of the three greatest heroes featured in the rich mythology of ancient Rus -- Ilya Muromet, Alyosha Popovich, and Dobrynia Nikitich -- as they battle the forces of the Golden Horde and the underworld in an epic journey that will forever change their destinies and those of their people.

The graphic novel is written by Roger Lay, Jr. and Jose A. Rosario Nieves and features art by Crizam (ARTHUR: THE LEGEND CONTINUES). The cover art for the book is by world renowned fantasy artist William Stout (CONAN THE BARBARIAN, JURASSIC PARK). As part of the book's multi platform release composer Brandon Moore (RAY BRADBURY'S CHRYSALIS, THE GENTLEMAN DON LA MANCHA) has been tapped to provide a soundtrack album for the novel comprised of cues inspired by some of the novel's most compelling moments.

The release of the novel will be preceded by a limited edition sketchbook exclusively available online on December 2010. The sketchbook lavishly illustrates the world of BOGATYRS through multiple concept sketches, location designs, and character profiles.

2010 Edition of The New Ray Bradbury Review Ships Sept 30

The 2010 edition of The New Ray Bradbury Review from Kent State Press is set for release on September 30th. This new edition gives readers a look at the process of adapting Bradbury stories to film. It includes insightful essays by Jon Eller and Producer Roger Lay Jr, who chronicles the making of A Piece of Wood and Chrysalis. The book also features a fragment of Bradbury's "lost" screenplay to The Chrysalis as well as conceptual art and photos from the Urban Archipelago Films production of Ray Bradbury's Chrysalis. DVD release date announced for "Ray Bradbury's Chrysalis"

E1 Entertainment has acquired Urban Archipelago Films' production of RAY BRADBURY'S CHRYSALIS for DVD distribution. The film will make its debut on the DVD format on July 27, 2010. The feature film adaptation of the internationally acclaimed author's short story was the recipient of the Best Sci-Fi Feature Award at the International Horror and Science Fiction Film Festival. Other recent and upcoming genre releases from E-1 Entertainment include William Shatner's GROOM LAKE, THE HAUNTED AIRMAN starring Robert Pattison (TWILIGHT), and the SyFy Channel hit series SANCTUARY starring Amanda Tapping (STARGATE SG-1).
